It is fundamental to teach al-Quran to special needs persons. Al-Quran is known to bring rahmah and syifa’ to the humankind – be it typical or those with special needs. Individuals who wish to teach al-Quran to those with special needs need to equip themselves with the necessary skills. The right knowledge and skills are essential to ensure effective teaching. Besides that, knowing the appropriate methods in teaching is also important to ensure that students are taught based on their strengths and interest.
Abstrak
Kepentingan di dalam menerapkan pendidikan al-Quran kepada insan istimewa amat penting. Al-Quran merupakan kalam Allah, rahmat dan syifa kepada sekalian manusia tidak kira sama ada golongan yang tipikal ataupun golongan istimewa. Individu yang ingin mengajar pendidikan al-Quran kepada insan istimewa ini perlulah mempersiapkan diri mereka dengan kemahiran di dalam pengajaran. Pengetahuan terhadap kemahiran ini penting supaya individu yang ingin mengajar pendidikan al-Quran kepada anak istimewa dapat menyampaikannya dengan lebih baik dan berkesan. Selain itu, pengetahuan terhadap kaedah-kaedah yang bersesuaian amat perlu supaya kaedah yang digunapakai itu menepati kekuatan, minat dan kecedurungan insan istismewa yang diajar. Hal ini kerana, bukan semua kaedah sesuai digunapakai kepada mereka.
