The issue is there is a contradiction between theories about the presence or absence of external motivation in encouraging teachers to innovate. In addition, the existing theory on motivation to innovate also does not touch on Islamic motivation which is one of the motivations for the teaching excellence of Islamic Education teachers. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim to explore the motivation for the production of teaching innovation among innovative teachers of Islamic Education. The study was conducted in a qualitative form. There were eight study participants selected using purposive sampling technique. They are tracked using the snowball method. Data were collected using semi -structured and in -depth interview methods. The validity and reliability of the findings were made through triangulation of sources, length of stay in the field and Kappa values. The findings show that there are 13 motivations that motivate study participants to innovate and can be categorized into two, namely; internal motivation and external motivation. Internal motivation consists of inspiration, task, self -satisfaction, afterlife share and interest. External motivation is related to competition, recognition, side income, career advancement, positive acceptance of students, peer encouragement, peer support and the role of administrator. These findings can provide input to education administrators in their efforts to stimulate teachers under their management to also engage in innovative activities.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Motivasi penghasilan inovasi penting untuk dibincangkan kerana ia menjadi penentu orientasi tindakan seseorang. Isunya terdapat kontradik antara teori mengenai ada atau tidak motivasi luaran dalam mendorong guru berinovasi. Selain itu, teori mengenai motivasi untuk berinovasi sedia ada turut tidak menyentuh mengenai motivasi islami yang menjadi antara motivasi kepada kecemerlangan pengajaran guru Pendidikan Islam. Oleh itu kajian ini dijalankan dengan tujuan untuk meneroka motivasi penghasilan inovasi pengajaran di kalangan guru inovatif Pendidikan Islam. Kajian dijalankan dalam bentuk kualitatif. Terdapat lapan peserta kajian dipilih menggunakan teknik persampelan bertujuan. Mereka dijejak dengan menggunakan kaedah snowball. Data dikutip menggunakan kaedah temu bual separa struktur dan secara mendalam. Kesahan dan keboleh percayaan dapatan dibuat melalui triangulasi sumber, lama berada di lapangan dan nilai Kappa. Dapatan menunjukkan terdapat 13 motivasi yang mendorong peserta kajian berinovasi dan boleh dikategorikan kepada dua, iaitu; motivasi dalaman dan motivasi luaran. Motivasi dalaman terdiri daripada inspirasi, tugas, kepuasan diri, saham akhirat dan minat. Motivasi luaran pula terkait dengan pertandingan, pengiktirafan, pendapatan sampingan, peningkatan kerjaya, penerimaan positif pelajar, dorongan pasangan, sokongan rakan dan peranan pentadbir. Sajari fenyfana87@gmail.com Hafizhah Zulkifli hafizhah_zulkifli@ukm.edu.my Shahlan Surat drshahlan@ukm.edu.my <p>The implementation of teaching in the COVID-19 pandemic season has urged teachers to be more prepared and open to face teaching and learning sessions (PdP) that require a comprehensive technology approach. Therefore, the preparation of a readiness instrument for the use of technology in PdP in this study has been adapted from several literature studies based on the theories and models used. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and reliability of the preparedness instrument that has been adapted according to the needs of the study. Testing of readiness instruments through a process of validity and reliability is done to produce more consistent results. A preliminary survey was conducted on 36 primary school Islamic Education Teachers (GPIs) in Gombak district, Selangor. A total of three experts were appointed as evaluators for the content validity of the instrument while a Malay teacher was chosen as the face validity evaluator. The instrument's content validity test is measured by using the Content Validity Index (CVI) to determine whether the items used should be dropped or retained. The reliability of the readiness instrument was measured using Cronbach Alpha. The findings of the study show that there are five items that need to be dropped and one negative item created, making the total number of items as many as 36 items out of 40 items in the initial stage. The results of the study also found that the value of the Cronbach Alpha coefficient of this research instrument is very high. Overall, the items in this instrument can be used and can answer the objectives and research questions. This instrument can also be improved according to the suitability of the study in the future.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak </strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Pelaksanaan pengajaran di musim pandemik COVID-19 telah mendesak para guru untuk lebih bersedia dan terbuka berhadapan dengan sesi pengajaran dan pembelajaran (PdP) yang memerlukan pendekatan teknologi secara menyeluruh. Oleh itu, penyediaan instrumen kesediaan terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam PdP dalam kajian ini telah diadaptasi dari beberapa kajian literatur berdasarkan teori dan model yang digunakan. Tujuan utama kajian ini adalah untuk menilai kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan instrumen kesediaan yang telah disesuaikan mengikut keperluan kajian. Pengujian terhadap instrumen kesediaan melalui proses kesahan dan kebolehpercayaan dibuat bagi menghasilkan keputusan yang lebih konsisten. Tinjauan awal telah dilakukan ke atas 36 orang Guru Pendidikan Islam (GPI) sekolah rendah di daerah Gombak, Selangor. Seramai tiga orang pakar dilantik sebagai penilai bagi kesahan kandungan instrumen manakala seorang guru Bahasa Melayu dipilih sebagai penilai kesahan muka. Ujian kesahan kandungan instrumen diukur dengan menggunakan Content Validity Index (CVI) bagi menentukan sama ada item-item yang digunakan perlu digugurkan atau dikekalkan. Kebolehpercayaan instrumen kesediaan pula diukur menggunakan Cronbach Alpha. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan terdapat lima item perlu digugurkan dan satu item negatif diwujudkan menjadikan keseluruhan item adalah sebanyak 36 item daripada 40 item di peringkat awalnya. Hasil kajian juga mendapati nilai pekali Cronbach Alpha instrumen kajian ini adalah sangat tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, item-item dalam instrumen ini boleh digunakan dan dapat menjawab objektif serta persoalan kajian. No exception, Braille learning among sighted students also needs to be emphasized in this revolution. This study aims to identify the Braille learning website in Malaysia, to examine the design of the development of the Braille learning website in Malaysia and to explore the use and function of the website. This qualitative study uses a document analysis approach. It begins with an interest that is mobilized individually or in groups to meet the social challenges of society. However, the study of volunteer service in the field of Islamic preaching to people with disabilities is poorly studied. Therefore, this study focuses on the literature related to the factors of volunteer service involvement in previous studies and then it will integrate the findings of previous studies to explore the volunteer services of da’wah to people with disabilities to be studied. This qualitative research method applies the design of document analysis and guided by systematic literature review (SLR) as a basis. The results show that there are certain factors that contribute to the engagement in volunteer service. The findings show the previous studies focus more on community social services rather than da’wah for people with disabilities. Therefore, the study of volunteer services and da’wah for people with disabilities should be highlighted to encourage community members to aware, care, take responsible towards humanity including special needs.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Khidmat kesukarelawanan merupakan suatu usaha berterusan yang menyumbang ke arah pembangunan dan kesejahteraan sesebuah negara. Ia bermula dengan minat yang digerakkan secara individu atau berkumpulan bagi mendepani cabaran sosial masyarakat. Namun begitu, kajian khidmat sukarelawan dalam bidang Dakwah OKU amat kurang dikaji. Oleh itu, kajian ini memfokuskan kepada literatur berkaitan faktor-faktor penglibatan khidmat kesukarelawanan dalam kajian terdahulu dan seterusnya ia akan mengintegrasikan penemuan kajian lepas bagi meneroka khidmat kesukarelawanan Dakwah OKU untuk dikaji. Metode kajian kualitatif ini menerapkan reka bentuk analisis dokumen dan berpandukan tinjauan literatur sistematik sebagai landasan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa terdapat faktor-faktor tertentu seseorang individu melibatkan diri dalam khidmat kesukarelawanan. Dapatan juga menunjukkan bahawa kajian-kajian lepas lebih menumpukan khidmat sosial masyarakat selain Dakwah OKU. However, the discussion of the role of higher education institutions in producing good graduates and higher skills has become an issue for the marginalization of value application among university students, where the university has been considered a "factory" to produce hundreds of thousands of journals and graduates. Thus, an analysis of four modules of the MPU U1 course for Bachelor's Degree offered at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) was carried out to discuss what good values are applied to the students through the module. A descriptive analysis conducted using ATLAS.ti9 software found 40 noble value codes in all four MPU course modules. The comparison of the 40 new noble values codes was based on 16 noble values outlined in the National Education Philosophy. 26 new noble value codes have been discovered through this study. In conclusion, the noble values found in this MPU course module are to foster national identity and inculcate good and moral values into the students. Therefore, the application of noble values related to this course should be emphasized and become the main objective of the delivery of the course.<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Selaras dengan hasrat kerajaan Malaysia dalam mencapai imbangan di antara aspek akhlak dan ilmu dalam pelan pendidikan Malaysia, pelaksanaan kursus Matapelajaran Pengajian Umum (MPU) di institusi pengajian tinggi dilihat sebagai salah satu usaha yang sangat murni untuk memupuk nilai dan etika serta identiti nasional dalam diri remaja di Malaysia. Namun, perbincangan mengenai peranan institusi pengajian tinggi bagi menghasilkan graduan yang baik dan berketerampilan tinggi telah menjadi isu kepada peminggiran penerapan nilai dalam kalangan pelajar universiti di mana niversiti telah di anggap sebagai “kilang” bagi menghasilkan beratus ribu jurnal dan graduan. Justeru, analisis terhadap empat modul kursus MPU U1 bagi Ijazah Sarjana Muda yang ditawarkan di Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) telah dijalankan bagi membincangkan apakah nilai murni yang diterapkan kepada pelajar melalui modul tersebut. Analisis deskriptif yang telah dijalankan menggunakan perisian ATLAS.ti9 menemui 40 kod nilai murni dalam keempat-empat modul kursus MPU. Perbandingan bagi 40 kod nilai murni baharu tersebut telah dibuat berdasarkan kepada 16 nilai murni yang digariskan di dalam Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan. Terdapat 26 kod nilai Murni baharu yang telah ditemui melalui kajian ini. Kesimpulannya, nilai murni yang terdapat di dalam modul kursus MPU ini adalah bagi mencapai matlamat untuk memupuk jati diri kebangsaan serta penanaman nilai-nilai murni dan moral ke dalam diri pelajar. The scientific research is not distinguished unless the researcher is a good reader; so the more the researcher delves into reading and takes enough time in it, the more he excels in the scientific research. Hence, the expert academician realizes that the most dangerous thing that the researchers may fall into the beginning of their researches; is neglecting the previous studies during the scientific research process, which makes their starting ambiguous, repetition to previous ideas, lacking credibility, reliability, fairness and vulnerable to criticism or evaluation. Therefore, this research seeks to implement sound methodology in order to write the literature review, and then to indicate the methodological errors, in particular the Qur’ānic studies through samples from the Universities’ Theses and articles.
