Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The article shall be written in Malay, British English or Arabic. For article in Malay and Arabic, the authors must provide title and abstract in English.
  • Total number of words for article is between 5000 - 8000 words. 
  • The submission includes author name(s), affiliations, and contact information.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • A short cover letter regarding the submission is attached, together with a suggestion of three (3) potential reviewers. This will be uploaded as supplementary file.

Author Guidelines

Dear author,

Please fill in Cover Letter JQSS form and attach it along with the article that has followed the template provided during the article submission process in JQSS system. For submitting an article the author must follow the instructions provided.

Submissions should include the following information:

Author: In form: Full name of author(s) with institution and email address.

Title: Font Times New Roman, Size 14, Bold, Capitalize each word except conjuction

Abstract: An abstract not exceeding 300 words should appear on the top of the first page. Papers in Malay or Arabic should also have an abstract in English. It should include research background, problem statement, objectives, methods used, research results and impacts of your study. For keyword, please provide not more than five keyword.

References:

In APA except for Malay/Chinese/Indian names. References should be placed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper and for Arabic references should be in Roman script. Footnotes is not recommended. 

Citations:

For citation please follow the notes provided.
