Caring for the Holy Qur’an, learning, teaching, preserving and disseminating it, has taken a great deal of the attention of Muslims from the beginning of the mission to the present day. One of the personalities that had contributions that should be noted and highlighted was the personality of the Commander of the Faithful, Umar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him. This research came to show a side of his contributions to the preservation, preservation, publication and teaching of the Holy Qur’an, and to highlight the impact of the Holy Qur’an on his personality. The researcher followed the descriptive approach, and it was one of the most prominent results of the research. That the Holy Qur’an had a great influence on the personality of the Commander of the Faithful Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, starting with his conversion to Islam, and then in his succession, as was one of the results of the research that the most prominent distinguished contributions of the Commander of the Faithful Omar Ibn Al-Khattab in the preservation of the Holy Qur’an, and it was shown by his role in the issue of collecting the Qur’an during the era of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him.
