Abstract

The Special Education Program currently offers religious education opportunities to Students with Special Needs (MBK). Visual impairment experienced by special education children especially problems experienced in the study of the Quran. The focus here is in the context of learning Al-Quran braille to MBK visual impairment. This study was conducted to identify the effectiveness of E-Braille on the skills of reading braille codes of letters, lines and surah passages in the Braille Quran. Several aspects in learning the Quran in the braille system will be identified by the researcher. The main objective of this study is the use of E-Braille in improving the level of skills in reading braille codes of letters, lines and surah passages in the Braille Quran. This study uses a quantitative method approach
by using detection instruments to collect data and assessed the level of MBK ability in learning Al- Quran braille. The results of this study show several processes of using E-Braille to identify the effectiveness in improving the skills of reading braille codes of letters, lines and passages of chapters for students who have not fully mastered these aspects in the Braille Quran.

Abstrak
Program Pendidikan Khas masa kini menawarkan peluang pendidikan agama kepada Murid Berkeperluan Khas (MBK). Masalah Penglihatan yang dialami oleh kanak-kanak pendidikan khas khususnya masalah yang dialami dalam pengajian Al-Quran. Fokus disini adalah dalam konteks pembelajaran Al-Quran braille kepada MBK masalah penglihatan. Kajian ini dilakukan untuk mengenalpasti keberkesanan E-Braille terhadap kemahiran membaca kod braille huruf, baris dan petikan surah dalam Al-Quran Braille. Beberapa aspek dalam pembelajaran Al-Quran dalam sistem braille akan dikenalpasti oleh pengkaji. Objektif utama kajian ini adalah penggunaan E-Braille dalam meningkatkan tahap kemahiran membaca kod braille huruf, baris dan petikan surah dalam Al-Quran Braille. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kaedah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen pengesanan untuk memungut data dan dinilai tahap kebolehan MBK dalam pembelajaran Al-Quran braille. Hasil dapatan kajian ini menunjukkan beberapa proses penggunaan E-Braille untuk mengenalpasti keberkesanan dalam meningkatkan kemahiran membaca kod braille huruf, baris dan petikan surah bagi murid yang belum menguasai sepenuhnya aspek tersebut didalam Al-Quran Braille.
