Surah al-Ikhlas was selected as it contains a concise and comprehensive concept of Tawhid, making it a suitable foundation for teaching Aqidah to the Muslim deaf community. The study was conducted at the Negeri Sembilan Deaf Association and involved 12 respondents. A quantitative approach was employed using a questionnaire developed based on the meaning and interpretation of Surah al-Ikhlas. The questionnaire comprised items covering aspects such as the oneness of Allah, His essential attributes (<em>sifat wajib</em>), and His impossible attributes (<em>sifat mustahil</em>). The respondents’ overall performance in answering the 24 questions yielded a satisfactory average score of 64.58%. A comprehensive analysis of the data revealed that 228 correct answers were recorded out of 288 total responses, resulting in an accuracy rate of 79.17%. This indicates a generally good level of understanding among the respondents. However, the study identified a significant disparity in understanding between the two categories of attributes, namely the necessary attributes of Allah and the impossible attributes of Allah. Respondents demonstrated a higher level of understanding of the necessary attributes of Allah, with an average of 83.3% correct responses, compared to only 52.4% for the impossible attributes of Allah. This finding indicates that concepts such as Allah’s oneness, power, and ability are more readily comprehended by respondents, whereas the impossible attributes, which necessitate a deeper understanding of Allah’s dissimilarity to His creation, present greater challenges. The study underscores the need to develop a visual-based Tawhid teaching model tailored for the deaf community. This model should incorporate videos, graphics, animations, and the creation of specific signs to represent the attributes of Allah. Additionally, it is recommended that Islamic Education teachers receive training in Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) and inclusive pedagogical practices to enhance understanding among deaf learners. The study also recommends improvements to the Islamic Education curriculum to make it more accessible and inclusive for the deaf community, as well as the publication of reference materials that are more visual and literal in nature to facilitate the understanding of Tawhid concepts among this group.<br><br><strong>Abstrak</strong><br><br>Kajian rintis ini bertujuan untuk menilai tahap pengetahuan Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) Pendengaran Muslim tentang Allah SWT berdasarkan kandungan surah al-Ikhlas. Surah al-Ikhlas dipilih kerana ia mengandungi konsep tauhid yang ringkas dan padat, sesuai dijadikan asas dalam pengajaran akidah kepada komuniti OKU Pendengaran Muslim. Kajian ini dijalankan di Persatuan Orang Pekak Negeri Sembilan melibatkan seramai 12 orang responden. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan melalui instrumen soal selidik yang dibangunkan berasaskan maksud dan tafsiran surah al-Ikhlas. Soal selidik ini mengandungi item-item yang merangkumi aspek keesaan Allah, sifat wajib dan sifat mustahil Allah SWT.  Prestasi keseluruhan responden dalam menjawab 24 soalan yang diberikan mencatatkan purata pada tahap memuaskan sebanyak 64.58%. Dari segi analisis secara keseluruhan, data menunjukkan bahawa sebanyak 228 jawapan betul direkodkan daripada 288 jawapan keseluruhan, menghasilkan peratusan ketepatan sebanyak 79.17%. Ini menggambarkan tahap pemahaman yang baik dalam kalangan responden. Namun, kajian mendapati terdapat perbezaan yang ketara dalam pemahaman terhadap dua kategori antara sifat wajib dan sifat mustahil. Responden lebih memahami sifat wajib Allah, dengan purata jawapan betul sebanyak 83.3%, berbanding dengan sifat mustahil Allah yang hanya mencatatkan 52.4% jawapan betul. Dapatan ini memperlihatkan bahawa konsep sifat wajib seperti keesaan, kekuasaan, dan kemampuan Allah lebih mudah difahami oleh responden berbanding konsep sifat mustahil yang memerlukan kefahaman lebih mendalam tentang ketidaksamaan Allah dengan makhluk. Kajian ini membawa implikasi kepada keperluan membangunkan model pengajaran tauhid berasaskan visual untuk OKU Pendengaran, merangkumi penggunaan video, grafik, animasi, serta penghasilan isyarat khusus bagi sifat-sifat Allah. Selain itu, latihan kepada guru Pendidikan Islam dalam penguasaan Bahasa Isyarat Malaysia (BIM) dan amalan pedagogi inklusif perlu diperkenalkan bagi meningkatkan kefahaman dalam kalangan OKU Pendengaran.
