Even so, we find that there are still too few studies done to present and investigate the characteristics of Al-Amidi&amp;#039;s embossed writing system. This study will use a literature review methodology and inductive content analysis. This study seeks to know who Al-Amidi is, to present the general features of Al-Amidi’s embossed writing system and to examine the reasons that led to its creation and its demise. This study will also briefly compare the Al-Amidi writing system and the Braille system.This study finds that Al-Amidi&amp;#039;s embossed writing system, although lost and not practiced to this day, but still deserves to be appreciated as one of the unique and important inventions in the history of disabled’s empowerment.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;

&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Zainuddin Al-Amidi (selepas ini, Al-Amidi) merupakan seorang ulama OKU penglihatan yang telah menyumbang kepada penciptaan Sistem Tulisan Timbul (&amp;lt;em&amp;gt;Al-Huruf Al-Barizah&amp;lt;/em&amp;gt;) untuk Orang Kurang Upaya (selepas ini OKU), buat pertama kalinya dalam sejarah dunia. Pun begitu, kita mendapati masih terlalu kurang kajian yang dilakukan untuk mengemukakan dan menyelidik ciri-ciri sistem tulisan timbul Al-Amidi ini. Kajian ini akan menggunakan metodologi kajian kepustakaan dan analisis isi induktif. Kajian ini berusaha untuk mengenali siapakah Al-Amidi, mengemukakan ciri-ciri am sistem tulisan timbul Al-Amidi, mengkaji sebab-sebab yang mendorong kepada penciptaannya dan mengkaji sebab kehilangannya. Kajian ini juga akan membandingkan secara ringkas sistem tulisan Al-Amidi dan sistem Braille. Kajian ini mendapati sistem tulisan timbul Al-Amidi ini meskipun telah hilang dan tidak diamalkan ke hari ini, tetapi masih wajar dihargai sebagai salah satu rekacipta yang unik dan penting dalam sejarah pemberdayaan OKU.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;
